I've done sales for newspaper advertising most of my career, and cold calling is such a powerful but challenging way to make those sales. Very hard to master. I had the pleasure of meeting David at a Starbucks in San Antonio, he told me about his book, and I picked it up to give it a read. I was really surprised at the high quality of the information within, having just met David at random. He wisely starts by talking about mindset (one of the hardest parts of the game to win as a salesperson), then lays down concrete tactics to multiply the number of appointments and thus sales you can make. Lots of counter-intuitive tactics shared in these pages. Highly recommended to anyone new to sales, or struggling to grow their numbers.

Quick read, some good tips and explains what how to become successful.Who is this for:It's not a book of scripts to copy but ideas and thoughts processes.(it does have some examples)Not a manual but again suggestions to put into your own sales/gen process.Why his process works.Positive outlook in the general process of lead gen/calling.Going to re-read for the ideas.Good job and look forward to your next book. Also, I think the audio version is coming out.

I am brand new to the world of sales and marketing. I switched careers after 17 years in investigations and became the Business Development Manager for an MSP provider. I have read so many articles and watched so many webinars but nothing truly hit home until I read this book. I'll be the first to admit that for some reason cold calling scared me...but, after the time I've spent getting to know our business coupled with the information in this book...I'm actually excited to go to work tomorrow and pick up that phone!!!

Went to one of his conferences in Anaheim, CA. What I liked the most about the author was he had a different way of presenting the material we learned. He had a spin on techniques that are used. They seem to be effective and can’t wait to see what kind of results I get from implementing them.
