This is a great little tarot deck and the tin is excellent for throwing in a bag or pack and protecting your cards. The size is a little smaller than regular playing cards. I saw in the reviews people are mostly thrown off by the size thinking the cards are either smaller or larger. I've taken a photo with a dollar bill for scale to help. One pretty cool size feature is that you can easily fit a Celtic spread on just a bandana - a super simple reading cloth, although that won't fit inside the tin.
i love the cards they are great and deserve the 5 stars the only thing is that they are a kind of small but overall im happy with the purchase
Smaller than I expected. I realize I failed to read the description, which clearly says it's a pocket size deck. So, I was disappointed to only see that when I received it. I also expected to be brighter. But I still like it and will use it as a traveling deck.
This is a re-coloring of the original Rider-Waite-Smith deck. The deck itself is fine but I wanted to point out that this is a mini version. The cards are small, 3.5 x 2.25. Had I known this I would have bought the original Radiant Waite deck that comes without a tin but full-size. The tin was a draw for me and while I'm disappointed by the card size I will say that the tin is a very nice way to keep these cards in. These will function as my travel deck.
I loooved this deck so much, it's the cutest! Super easy to bring with me in my purse. Bright colors speak to me they are so vibrant. It spoke to me right away, it's mine!! 💗💗💗
I have been a collector for years. I also have tiny hands and, although some traditionalists may find the small deck off-putting, I LOVE it! They are easy to handle and shuffle. Very happy with this purchase. I also love the tin, making it a perfect "purse deck" that won't get damaged on-the-go.
I ordered these cards a while ago, and I've enjoyed them so far. The tin is very nice, and provides a convenient place to store the cards when they aren't in use. The card stock and size are reminiscent of a deck of cards, and I've had no issues with it so far.But by far, my favorite feature of this deck is its small size. Regular tarot cards are far too large to fit in my tiny hands comfortably(to give you a comparison, I wear kids sized gloves) especially during shuffling. While I had only planned on using this as a backup deck, I've honestly found myself reaching for it more than some of my specialty decks just because it's easier for me to use.The illustrations themselves are detailed and from what I've noticed, true to RW form. I love that the minor arcana has its own illustrations as well, and that they aren't just pips.I think this would make a great gift for anyone into tarot (since its the size of a regular deck of playing cards you can throw it in your purse or bag easily), or even a great deck for beginners. The instructions and card definitions included are not the best, but there's so Many online resources now I feel that hardly matters.
This is such a handy little deck. The tin case is a lot smaller than I expected, and the cards fit in the palm of my hand, but they are so cute.They fit snugly in the tin, and the lid stays on so you can put them in your handbag and take them anywhere without the worry of the lid falling off and the cards getting damaged. I'm new to tarot cards and I'm absolutely in love with these. The stars on the back of the cards is nice too! I think these will be great for doing readings on the go. :) The colours of the cards are beautiful and bright too, love them!
